El Rio, Colorado State University-Pueblo's open access, peer-reviewed journal of student research, is pleased to announce it is accepting original manuscript submissions for the Spring 2020 issue. The journal accepts manuscripts in the areas of humanities, behavioral sciences, social sciences, natural sciences, and applied/health sciences. El Río accepts manuscripts written in both English and Spanish. Authors must be current CSU-Pueblo undergraduate or graduate students, or recent graduates. We encourage students from all disciplines to submit with the support of a faculty member/mentor.

Deadline: To be considered for the Spring 2020 issue, manuscripts must be submitted no later than February 7, 2020. Manuscripts will go through a blind peer review process with expected publication of accepted manuscripts in May 2020.

Interested in becoming a student peer reviewer for El Río? All students of Colorado State University-Pueblo are eligible to be El Río reviewers. Faculty are also encouraged to apply as experts in their field that can advise student reviewers. Being a peer reviewer is a manageable time commitment that provides a valuable service for the student-led, student-built journal.
